Located in Genessee County, Accurate Appraisals, Inc. has become one of the most respected appraisal companies in Southeast Michigan. Our goal is to provide the highest quality appraisal possible in a timely manner. See our service area page for full details.

Founded by Lonnie Heward in 1999 our staff has grown significantly to now have over 50 years of experience in the appraisal industry. Many of our appraisers are FHA Certified. You can rest assured that our appraisers are of the highest caliber and meet all FHA regulations. Since the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s regulations are constantly changing, this means that we meet the following requirements:

  • The appraiser must be state-certified (licensed-level appraisers no longer qualify) with credentials based on the minimum certification criteria issued by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) of the Appraisal Foundation, and
  • The appraiser cannot be listed on HUD’s Limited Denial of Participation (LDP) list, HUD’s Credit Alert System (CAIVRS) or GSA’s Excluded Parties List System (EPLS).

ERC Appraisal Certified
